Fettuncini Alfredo

1 LBS Fettuccini noodles follow directions on the package.

Alfredo Sauce:
3Tbsp flour
3 tbsp butter
1/2 cup chicken broth
1 quart heavy cream
1/2 cup (1 stick) unsalted butter, softened
1 cup freshly grated Parmigiano-Reggiano
2 Tbsp chopped fresh garlic
Freshly fine cracked black pepper

Chopped parsley, for garnish

Place 3 Tbsp of butter in a sauce pan, melt and add flour. Blend flour into butter. Do not brown flour. Add chicken broth and stir well.
Add heavy cream over low-medium heat.
Add remaining butter and whisk gently to melt.
Add cheese and stir to incorporate. Season with freshly cracked black pepper.

Add pasta and stir
Transfer pasta to serving plates.
Top with more grated cheese and chopped parsley.
